The Borough of Glassboro invites regional farmers, wineries, crafters, collectors and other vendors to participate in our second Glassboro Marketplace season. The Glassboro Marketplace is a new vehicle for residents throughout the region to access products from local vendors and locally grown produce, while providing farmers with a profitable outlet to sell directly to the public. The market season will run April through October annually. The cost to participate is $25.00 per week. The marketplace does offer a variation of package deals.
The Glassboro Marketplace will take place on Rowan Boulevard, the centerpiece of Glassboro’s downtown redevelopment project and future home of the Town Square. The marketplace site is off of Route 322, south of the roundabout leading to Rowan Boulevard. The marketplace is next to the Barnes & Noble Superstore and adjacent to the Victoria Street parking lot, with easy public access and convenient free parking. Just steps from the market site is housing for over 1100 Rowan University students and the new Whitney Center, with retail shops and restaurants set to open in April.
We sincerely hope you will consider being a vendor at the 2013 Glassboro Marketplace on Rowan Boulevard. For any questions, please contact us at (856) 881-0500. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to a great market season.
